Alternatively, if you have the NATO Handle Plus v2 Kit or similar, a rod clamp (15mm LW) can be added to the front which would hold the two 15mm rods. If used without the Easy Top, a Pogo male to LEMO male (24") compatible LCD/EVF cable is recommended.Ī lightweight 15mm rod mount is required at the top for proper attachment of the AIR EVF mount, and the Master Top Handle, shown in the example photos and video is a good choice for this. If using the Wooden Camera Easy Top (DSMC2), an LCD/EVF cable (RED, R/R, 24") is ideal, as it provides sufficient length for proper positioning in most configurations. The slim knuckle design allows both straight and right angle LEMO compatible connectors to be installed on the EVF. The system moves forward and backward over the lens area on two 15mm rods, left and right on a 19mm rod, and a friction knuckle allows the EVF to be quickly tilted without having to loosen a thumbscrew.
The plate includes a Cold Shoe Receiver, 1/4″-20 and ⅜”-16 mounting points which support various accessories such as our quick release top handles, external monitors, wireless video transmitters, articulating arms, etc. The included Front Top Plate offers expanded options for mounting accessories in a small, lightweight form factor.
The cage also features mounting points for the optional Side Single Rod Holder for RED V-RAPTOR, which offer a lightweight solution for mounting accessories such as follow focus motors via 15mm rods. The base of the cage also provides several mounting options for attaching your camera to various quick release systems and natively supports our 15mm LWS Baseplate for RED V-RAPTOR.
